RCFL Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (RCFL) has released the official notification for the engagement of 326 Graduate Apprentice, Technician Apprentice and Trade Apprentice posts for the 2026-27 training session. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online from 4 September 2026 to 20 September 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should carefully check the eligibility requirements before submitting the application.

Educational Qualification

The required qualification must be obtained from a recognized University or Institute through a regular full-time course.

Qualifications obtained through distance learning, part-time or correspondence mode are not eligible.

For Diploma Apprentice positions, allied branches of engineering are not considered unless specifically mentioned in the notification.

  • The final-year mark sheet or passing certificate of the prescribed qualification should be dated on or after 1 July 2023.

  • Candidates having one year or more of job experience are not eligible.
  • Candidates pursuing higher studies are not eligible.

  • Candidates using CGPA/CPI or grades must provide the equivalent percentage certificate issued according to their University/Institute norms.

Special Qualification Conditions

Candidates with B.Sc. qualifications in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are considered for specific RDSDE trades according to the major subject specified in the notification.

  • Candidates with Chemistry as the major subject may be considered for Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) and Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant).
  • Candidates with Physics as the major subject may be considered for Instrument Mechanic (Chemical Plant).
  • Candidates with Biology in graduation, with only Zoology or only Botany, may apply for specified Graduate Apprentice positions such as Secretarial Assistant or Recruitment Executive (HR), subject to the notification’s conditions.

The minimum age is 18 years, while the maximum age is 25 years, calculated as on 1 September 2026.

The BOAT component is disbursed directly to eligible apprentices. RCF states that it is not responsible for delays or non-payment by BOAT.

Other Facilities During Apprenticeship

According to the notification, apprentices may receive the following facilities during training, subject to company rules:

  • Morning breakfast and tea.
  • Vegetarian lunch thali in the company canteen.
  • OPD medical facilities at the RCF Hospital for trainees.
  • Uniform.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), where applicable.

There is no transportation facility or transportation reimbursement.

RCFL Apprentice Selection Process 2026

Selection will primarily be based on merit in the prescribed qualifying educational qualification, along with applicable reservation rules.

Tie-Breaking Rule

If two or more candidates have the same merit marks, even after considering decimal marks, the candidate with the higher qualification will receive preference.

If the qualification is also the same, the candidate having higher marks in the preceding educational qualification will be ranked higher.

  • Leaving certificates for SSC, HSC and graduation, as applicable.

Candidates need to complete registration on the appropriate apprenticeship portal before applying, as applicable to their category.

  • Trade Apprentices: Registration on the NAPS/apprenticeship portal is required.
  • Graduate and Technician Apprentices: Registration as a student on the NATS portal is required.
