HPCL Officers Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 731 Posts

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has released an official notification inviting online applications for the recruitment of Engineers, Junior Executive Assistants, and various other posts.

Junior Executive – Mechanical (2.3): 3 years full-time Regular Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Junior Executive – Electrical (2.4): 3 years full-time Regular Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Junior Executive – Chemical (2.5): 3 years full-time Regular Diploma in Chemical Engineering.

Junior Executive – Quality Control (2.6): 3 years full-time regular graduation in Chemistry (B.Sc. Chemistry).

Junior Executive – HR (2.7): 3 years full-time regular BBA / BBA (Honours) / BMS with HR Specialization.

Junior Executive – Fire & Safety (2.8): Any Science Graduate + Diploma in Fire & Safety with Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.

Mechanical Engineer (2.9): 4 years full-time regular engineering course in Mechanical Engineering.

Electrical Engineer (2.10): 4 years full-time regular engineering course in Electrical Engineering.

Civil Engineer (2.11): 4 years full-time regular engineering course in Civil Engineering.

Officer – Finance (CA) (2.13): Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) AND Minimum 3 years full-time regular graduation in any discipline.

Officer – Finance (MBA) (2.15): 2 years full-time MBA in Finance AND Minimum 3 years full-time regular graduation in any discipline.

Officer – HR (2.16): 2 years full-time Post Graduate Degree / Equivalent course in HR / Personnel Management / Industrial Relations / Psychology or MBA with specialization in HR.

Officer – IS (2.17): 4 years full-time regular engineering course in Computer Science and Engineering OR full-time Masters in Computer Applications (MCA).

Deputy General Manager – Polymer Export (3.24): 2 years full-time regular MBA course in Sales / Marketing / Operations / Supply Chain AND Minimum 3 years full-time graduation in any discipline.

Assistant Manager / Manager – IS (Data Management, Cyber Security, Quality Assurance) (3.25, 3.26, 3.27): 4 years full-time regular engineering course in Computer Science and Engineering OR full-time Masters in Computer Applications (MCA).

Manager / Senior Manager – IS (Enterprise Architect) (3.28): 4-year full-time regular engineering course in Computer Science and Engineering OR full-time Masters in Computer Applications (MCA).

Assistant Manager / Manager / Senior Manager – HR (3.29): 2 years full-time Post Graduate Degree / Equivalent course in HR / Personnel Management / Industrial Relations / Psychology or MBA with specialization in HR.

Senior Cyber Security Strategist & Advisor – IT and OT (FTC) (4.1): 4 years full-time regular engineering course in Computer Science and Engineering OR Full-time Masters in Computer Applications (MCA). Desirable: 2 years full-time regular Masters in Cyber Security / Information Security / OT Security.

Minimum Marks: CA/CMA – Minimum 50% marks in CA/CMA AND Minimum 65% marks for UR/OBCNC/EWS and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates in Graduation. All other positions – Minimum 65% marks for UR/OBCNC/EWS and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

All qualifications must be full-time regular courses from AICTE approved / UGC recognized University / Deemed University.

Selection Process

• The selection process may include various shortlisting and assessment stages such as a Computer Based Test (CBT) / Written Test / Typing Test, Group Task, Psychometric Assessment, Skill Test, Moot Court, Personal or Technical Interview and Physical Fitness Efficiency Test (where applicable), depending on the specific requirements of the position.
• Computer Based Test (CBT):
• The CBT will consist primarily of objective-type questions (with descriptive questions included for Legal and HR Officer posts) and will be conducted in two parts:
  • Part I – General Aptitude:
  • Includes questions on English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Intellectual Potential (Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation).
  • Part II – Technical / Professional Knowledge:
  • Covers subject-specific questions based on the candidate’s qualifying degree and the educational background required for the applied post.
• CBT will be conducted tentatively on 03 May 2026. HPCL reserves the right to reschedule the date of CBT.
• Questions will be based on syllabus hosted on Careers Page on corporate website (indicative, not exhaustive).
• Candidates qualifying in CBT, in order of merit and predetermined ratio, will be advised to upload supporting documents for certain positions.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Task and/or Personal Interview based on scrutiny of application, uploaded documents, and merit list.
• Candidates’ document verification shall be conducted before Personal Interviews.
• Candidates may be required to undergo Psychometric Assessments before/after Group Task/Personal Interview.
• Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks in each applicable selection stage (CBT, Group Task, and Personal Interview) to be considered for further selection.
• A category and discipline-wise merit list will be drawn for all candidates who qualify in all applicable stages.
• The selected candidates would be required to join HPCL as per the date of joining mentioned in the Offer of Appointment.

Experienced Professionals (3.1 to 3.29): Max. age varies from 26 to 47 years depending upon the position and completed years of experience as per the table in the notification.

FTC – Senior Cyber Security Strategist & Advisor (4.1): Max. Age 39 to 45 Years (depending on experience)

Age Relaxation:

SC / ST candidates: 5 years relaxation

OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates: 3 years relaxation

PwBD (UR): 10 years relaxation

PwBD (OBCNC): 13 years relaxation

PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years relaxation

Candidates domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir between 01.01.1980 and 31.12.1989: 5 years relaxation

Ex-Servicemen & Commissioned Officers: 5 years relaxation (subject to conditions)

Salary / Stipend

• Pay Scale ₹30,000 – ₹1,20,000: CTC Approx. ₹10.88 Lakh per annum
• Pay Scale ₹40,000 – ₹1,40,000: CTC Approx. ₹14.51 Lakh per annum
• Pay Scale ₹50,000 – ₹1,60,000: CTC Approx. ₹18.14 Lakh per annum
• Pay Scale ₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000: CTC Approx. ₹21.77 Lakh per annum
• Pay Scale ₹70,000 – ₹2,00,000: CTC Approx. ₹26.24 Lakh per annum
• Pay Scale ₹80,000 – ₹2,20,000: CTC Approx. ₹29.98 Lakh per annum
• Pay Scale ₹90,000 – ₹2,40,000: CTC Approx. ₹34.81 Lakh per annum
• Pay Scale ₹1,20,000 – ₹2,80,000: CTC Approx. ₹49.30 Lakh per annum
• FTC Position (Senior Cyber Security Strategist & Advisor): Annual Consolidated Remuneration of ₹50 Lakhs or ₹60 Lakhs per annum (depending on experience level).
• A candidate will be inducted at the minimum of the pay scale.
• The CTC includes Basic Pay, Retirement Benefits, Dearness Allowance, HRA, Cafeteria Allowance and Performance Related Pay (at maximum), payable as per Corporation’s policy.
• The above CTC is for candidates posted in metro cities and may vary for other locations.
