Senior Cyber Security Strategist & Advisor – IT and OT (FTC) (4.1): 4 years full-time regular engineering course in Computer Science and Engineering OR Full-time Masters in Computer Applications (MCA). Desirable: 2 years full-time regular Masters in Cyber Security / Information Security / OT Security.
Minimum Marks: CA/CMA – Minimum 50% marks in CA/CMA AND Minimum 65% marks for UR/OBCNC/EWS and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates in Graduation. All other positions – Minimum 65% marks for UR/OBCNC/EWS and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
All qualifications must be full-time regular courses from AICTE approved / UGC recognized University / Deemed University.
Selection Process
- The selection process may include various shortlisting and assessment stages such as a Computer Based Test (CBT) / Written Test / Typing Test, Group Task, Psychometric Assessment, Skill Test, Moot Court, Personal or Technical Interview and Physical Fitness Efficiency Test (where applicable), depending on the specific requirements of the position.
- Computer Based Test (CBT):
- The CBT will consist primarily of objective-type questions (with descriptive questions included for Legal and HR Officer posts) and will be conducted in two parts:
- Part I – General Aptitude:
- Includes questions on English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Intellectual Potential (Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation).
- Part II – Technical / Professional Knowledge:
- Covers subject-specific questions based on the candidate’s qualifying degree and the educational background required for the applied post.
- CBT will be conducted tentatively on 03 May 2026. HPCL reserves the right to reschedule the date of CBT.
- Questions will be based on syllabus hosted on Careers Page on corporate website (indicative, not exhaustive).
- Candidates qualifying in CBT, in order of merit and predetermined ratio, will be advised to upload supporting documents for certain positions.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Task and/or Personal Interview based on scrutiny of application, uploaded documents, and merit list.
- Candidates’ document verification shall be conducted before Personal Interviews.
- Candidates may be required to undergo Psychometric Assessments before/after Group Task/Personal Interview.
- Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks in each applicable selection stage (CBT, Group Task, and Personal Interview) to be considered for further selection.
- A category and discipline-wise merit list will be drawn for all candidates who qualify in all applicable stages.
- The selected candidates would be required to join HPCL as per the date of joining mentioned in the Offer of Appointment.

- Pay Scale ₹50,000 – ₹1,60,000: CTC Approx. ₹18.14 Lakh per annum
- Pay Scale ₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000: CTC Approx. ₹21.77 Lakh per annum
- Pay Scale ₹70,000 – ₹2,00,000: CTC Approx. ₹26.24 Lakh per annum
- Pay Scale ₹80,000 – ₹2,20,000: CTC Approx. ₹29.98 Lakh per annum
- Pay Scale ₹90,000 – ₹2,40,000: CTC Approx. ₹34.81 Lakh per annum
- Pay Scale ₹1,20,000 – ₹2,80,000: CTC Approx. ₹49.30 Lakh per annum
- FTC Position (Senior Cyber Security Strategist & Advisor): Annual Consolidated Remuneration of ₹50 Lakhs or ₹60 Lakhs per annum (depending on experience level).
- A candidate will be inducted at the minimum of the pay scale.
- The CTC includes Basic Pay, Retirement Benefits, Dearness Allowance, HRA, Cafeteria Allowance and Performance Related Pay (at maximum), payable as per Corporation’s policy.
- The above CTC is for candidates posted in metro cities and may vary for other locations.
