Selection Process
The selection process will consist of the following stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT) / Written Screening Test
- Objective type examination of 120 marks
- Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
- Each question carries 1 mark
- Typing / Skill Test
- Applicable for Post Code 26005 (Panchayat Secretary)
- Minimum Typing Speed:
- 30 WPM in English or
- 25 WPM in Hindi on computer
- Qualifying in nature
- Document Verification
- Candidates shortlisted after the examination will be called for document verification.
Age Limit
The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 45 years for most posts. However, for Post Code 26013 (Audiometric Technician – Job Trainee) and Post Code 26011 (Speech Therapist – Job Trainee), the age limit is 18 to 38 years. The age will be calculated as on 01 January 2026. An upper age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates domiciled in Himachal Pradesh, as well as HP Government employees and Ex-servicemen of Himachal Pradesh.
