HPRCA Teachers Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 624 Posts

Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA) has released a recruitment notification for 624 Teachers posts. Eligible candidates can apply online.

HPRCA English & Mathematics Teacher Recruitment 2026 Overview

Eligibility Criteria

English Teacher (Post Code 26002)

• M.A. English with 50% marks in Graduation with B.Ed & teaching of English as compulsory subject in B.Ed (B.A B.Ed/B.Com B.Ed/B.Sc B.Ed will be eligible).
• The applicant must have completed Graduation (including B.Ed) with a minimum of 50% marks overall and at least 55% marks in English at the Graduation level.
• SC/ST/OBC candidates should have at least 45% marks in Graduation (and 45% marks in B.Ed) and 50% marks in English at Graduation level.

Mathematics Teacher (Post Code 26003)

• M.A/M.Sc. Mathematics with 50% marks in Graduation with B.Ed & teaching of Mathematics as compulsory subject in B.Ed (B.A-B.Ed/B.Com-B.Ed/B.Sc-B.Ed will be eligible).
• The applicant must have completed Graduation (including B.Ed) with a minimum of 50% marks overall & at least 55% marks in Mathematics at the Graduation level.
• SC/ST/OBC candidates should have at least 45% marks in Graduation and 45% marks in B.Ed & 50% marks in Mathematics at Graduation level.

Salary/Stipend

• Fixed honorarium of ₹30,000/- per month.
• Payable for 10 months in an academic year.
• An annual increment shall be applicable, as approved by the Government from time to time, in accordance with the provisions of the sub-scheme.
• The appointment shall be for a period of five years on an engagement basis, shall not be against any regular sanctioned post & shall not confer any right to regularization.

• Minimum Age: 25 years
• Maximum Age: 45 years

Selection Process

• A Computer-Based Test (CBT) / Written Objective Screening Test of 120 marks with a duration of 1½ hours, or as decided by HPRCA.
• The objective type screening test with 120 multiple-choice questions (1 mark each).
• Syllabus: The subject/field shall be up to the level of the prescribed essential qualifications. General Knowledge, including Himachal Pradesh, Current Affairs, Everyday Science, Logical Reasoning, Social Science, General English & General Hindi (Matriculation level).
• Normalization of scores using Z-Score Method in case of multiple shifts.
• Document verification for shortlisted candidates.

Note: Candidates must secure at least 45% marks (General category) and 40% marks (SC/ST/OBC/Wards of Freedom Fighters). A further relaxation of 5% may be granted, if applicable, as per the notification.

How to Apply Online

• Candidates must first sign up on the HPRCA portal (https://hprca.hp.gov.in) to create a username & password.
• After sign-up, candidates must complete One-Time Registration by providing personal information, educational qualifications, work experience (if any), uploading recent photograph, signature & relevant supporting documents.
• Only users with a completed profile can apply for posts, profile can be updated for changes in qualifications or contact details.
• Candidates can view available posts on HPRCA portal and click “Apply” for the desired post (English Teacher or Mathematics Teacher).
• Applicants must select preferred exam district(s) from the dropdown; HPRCA reserves the right to allot any district/centre due to constraints like availability of computer nodes.
• The system auto-fills application details from profile; candidates must review & confirm application details.
• Candidates must pay application fee through the prescribed online payment gateway, no other mode is accepted.
• After successful payment, the application is considered complete; candidates should ensure no column is wrongly filled or left blank and that all required documents/certificates are uploaded.
• Keep a downloaded/printed copy for documentation.
