SSC CHSL Vacancy 2026

SSC has reported approximately 2,536 tentative vacancies for the CHSL 2026 recruitment.

The vacancies are for:

SSC CHSL Selection Process 2026

The SSC CHSL selection process consists of Tier-I and Tier-II Computer Based Examinations.

Tier-I Examination

Tier-I contains four sections:

There is a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in Tier-I.

Tier-II Examination

  • Section-II: English Language & Comprehension and General Awareness
  • Section-III: Computer Knowledge Test
  • Section-IV: Skill Test/Typing Test

Candidates must qualify in all applicable sections of Tier-II. The Computer Knowledge Test is qualifying in nature, while the Skill Test/Typing Test is conducted according to the post applied for.

How to Apply for SSC CHSL 2026

Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the SSC website or the mySSC mobile application.

  1. Visit the official SSC website.
  2. Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new SSC website.
  3. Log in using your registration details.
  4. Select the SSC CHSL 2026 examination.
  5. Enter the required personal, educational and other details.
  6. Select your preferred examination centres.
  7. Upload/provide the required photograph and other information as instructed.
  8. Pay the application fee, if applicable.
