Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the last date of application submission. Age Limit

Training Details
The total training duration for Indian Army TES-56 Entry is 4 years. Candidates will undergo 3 years of Basic Military & Engineering Training at CME Pune, MCTE Mhow, or MCEME Secunderabad, followed by 1 year of training at Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun. After successful completion, cadets will be awarded an Engineering Degree and granted Permanent Commission as Lieutenant in the Indian Army.
Salary & Pay Scale
Selected candidates will receive a stipend of ₹56,100/- per month during the final year of training at IMA. After commissioning, officers will get salary as per Level 10 Pay Matrix with pay starting from ₹56,100/- to ₹1,77,500/- per month along with allowances and benefits. Approximate annual CTC after commissioning is ₹17–18 Lakh.
Promotion Structure
Officers are promoted from Lieutenant to higher ranks like Captain, Major, Lieutenant Colonel, Colonel, Brigadier and above based on years of service and selection criteria.
Selection Process
The selection process for Army TES Recruitment includes shortlisting based on JEE (Main) 2026 Rank, followed by SSB Interview, Medical Examination, and Final Merit List. Final selection will be made only on the basis of SSB Interview performance and medical fitness.
