SBI Clerk Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
Candidates appearing in the final year or semester of graduation may also apply provisionally. However, they must provide proof of passing the graduation examination by 31 December 2026.
Candidates holding an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) must ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31 December 2026.
Certain eligible ex-servicemen holding the prescribed education certificates issued by the Armed Forces may also apply, subject to the conditions mentioned in the official notification.

Local Language Requirement
Candidates must be proficient in the specified local language of the State/UT for which they apply.
Candidates who studied the specified local language in Class 10 or Class 12 and have documentary proof may be exempt from appearing in the Local Language Proficiency Test.

The Junior Associate pay scale is:

The starting Basic Pay for a graduate Junior Associate is ₹26,730, including the applicable advance increments.
The starting total emoluments for a Junior Associate posted in a metropolitan city such as Mumbai may be around ₹46,000 per month, including applicable allowances. Actual salary and allowances may vary according to the place of posting.
