Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil both the educational qualification and Scouts & Guides requirements prescribed for the recruitment.
Educational Qualification for Level-2 Posts
Candidates applying for Level-2 posts should have either:
- Passed 12th (+2 stage) or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 50% marks; or
- Passed 10th from a recognized board and possess a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) or ITI certificate approved by NCVT.
The minimum 50% marks condition is not applicable to SC, ST, ESM and PwBD candidates, as well as candidates possessing higher qualifications from UGC-recognized universities, as specified in the notification.
Candidates must also meet the prescribed Scouts & Guides eligibility requirements.
Educational Qualification for Level-1 Posts
Candidates applying for Level-1 posts should have:
- Passed 10th or ITI or equivalent qualification and
- National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT, wherever applicable as prescribed in the notification.
The prescribed Scouts & Guides qualification is also mandatory.
