CAPF SI Vacancies
The SI (GD) vacancies are distributed among the following forces:

Candidates selected for CAPF posts may be required to serve anywhere in India because these posts carry All India Service Liability.
Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, candidates should make sure they meet the prescribed eligibility conditions.
Educational Qualification
Candidates can qualify through either of the following routes.
For SI in Delhi Police and SI (GD) in CAPFs, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification.
Candidates whose final results are awaited may also apply, provided they obtain the required qualification by the prescribed closing date.
For SI (Fire) in CISF, candidates must meet the specific science or engineering qualification prescribed in the notification.
Eligible qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, or
- Matriculation along with a prescribed 3-year engineering diploma in an eligible discipline.
Driving Licence for Delhi Police SI
Male candidates applying for SI in Delhi Police must possess a valid LMV driving licence for Motorcycle and Car by the date specified for the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test.
Male candidates without the required driving licence can still be eligible for SI posts in CAPFs, subject to other eligibility conditions.
SSC CPO Age Limit 2026
The age will be calculated as on 1 August 2026.
For All Posts Except SI Fire
The prescribed age limit is: 20 to 25 years
Candidates should have been born between 2 August 2001 and 1 August 2006, subject to applicable relaxations.
For SI Fire in CISF
The age limit is: 18 to 30 years

The application fee for SSC CPO 2026 is ₹100.

SSC CPO Selection Process 2026
The selection process consists of multiple stages:
- Paper-I Computer-Based Examination
- Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Endurance Test (PET)
- Paper-II Computer-Based Examination
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME) / Review Medical Examination (RME)
Document Verification is also conducted as prescribed by the Commission and concerned forces.
The physical tests are qualifying in nature and do not carry separate marks.

SSC CPO Physical Test 2026
Candidates shortlisted for the physical stage must qualify the prescribed Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET).
The physical requirements vary according to the post, gender and applicable category/relaxation.
PET – Male Candidates
The prescribed events include:
- 100-metre race – 16 seconds
- 1.6 km race – 6.5 minutes
- Long Jump – 3.65 metres
- High Jump – 1.2 metres
- Shot Put (16 lbs) – 4.5 metres
PET – Female Candidates
The prescribed events include:
- 100-metre race – 18 seconds
- 800-metre race – 4 minutes
- Long Jump – 2.7 metres
- High Jump – 0.9 metres
Female candidates do not have a minimum chest measurement requirement.
Candidates belonging to categories eligible for physical-standard relaxation must produce the required certificate from the competent authority.
