Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications
UGC Norms: Qualifications must be in accordance with the UGC Regulations, 2018 on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and Other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges, including subsequent amendments.
Department of Education (ITEP): As per Appendix-15 of NCTE (Recognition, Norms and Procedure) Amendment Regulations, 2021.
Department of Physical Education: As per NCTE Regulations, 2014, along with amendments.
Department of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning: As per AICTE guidelines, in addition to applicable UGC regulations.
Department of Applied Agriculture: Candidates must possess relevant Postgraduate (PG) and Ph.D. qualifications in the concerned specialization.
Academic Record:
Minimum 55% marks at Master’s level (or equivalent grade)
Minimum 50% marks at Bachelor’s level (or equivalent grade)
No candidate will be considered beyond 64 years of age for regular appointment.
Selection Process
Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on API (Academic Performance Indicator) scores as per UGC Regulations.
Up to 25 candidates for one post
Up to 35 candidates for two posts (same category)
For posts with Concerned/Relevant/Allied subjects: Top 13 (Concerned) and 12 (Relevant/Allied) candidates per post will be shortlisted
Selection Method: Direct recruitment through All India advertisement, followed by evaluation by a duly constituted Selection Committee. The process may include presentation, seminar and/or interview. Interview: Interviews may be conducted in person or via Video Conferencing. SC/ST/PwD outstation candidates will be reimbursed to-and-fro rail fare as per Government of India rules. Note: The University reserves the right to shortlist candidates based on specialization/research area and limit the number of candidates called for interview.

Professors and Associate Professors must fill the API/Research Score form as per UGC Regulations 2018 (Table 2, Appendix II).
Assistant Professor: Fill the shortlisting criteria form as per Table 3A of Appendix II.
Upload all required documents, including: qualification certificates, mark sheets, experience certificates (with complete service details), at least one salary slip per financial year for each claimed experience, Form-16 (for non-government organizations), NOC (if currently employed in Govt./PSU/Autonomous bodies), caste/disability/EWS certificate (if applicable) and equivalence certificate for foreign Ph.D. (if applicable).
