Eligibility Criteria

Qualification – Driver:
Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) and possess a valid Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) Driving License.

Qualification – Motor Mechanic Vehicle:
Must have Matriculation (10th) along with a 2-year ITI certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle trade and minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.

Qualification – All Other Tradesmen:
Candidates should have Matriculation (10th) and must be proficient in the respective trade.

Qualification – Pioneer Wing (Mason/Electrician):
Must have Matriculation (10th) with at least 1 year of experience in the relevant trade.
(Candidates with ITI certification will be given preference.)

• Constable (Driver): 21 to 27 years
• Constable (Motor Mechanic Vehicle / Cobbler / Carpenter / Tailor / Brass Band / Pipe Band / Gardener / Bugler / Painter / Cook / Barber-cum-Hair Dresser / Washerman & Women / Water Carrier / Safai Karamchari / Mason / Plumber / Electrician): 18 to 23 yearsAge Relaxation:
• Applicable for reserved categories as per government rules and CRPF guidelines.

Selection Process

The selection process for CRPF Constable Tradesman recruitment will be conducted in multiple stages:

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
  Qualifying in nature.
  • Driver & Similar Trades: Male – 5 km in 24 min | Female – 1.6 km in 8.5 min
  • Cook, Barber, Washer, Safai, etc.: Male – 1.6 km in 10 min | Female – 1.6 km in 12 min
  • Pioneer (Mason/Electrician): Male – 1.6 km in 9 min
    Note: Pregnant candidates will be temporarily unfit.
• Physical Standards Test (PST):
  • Height: Male – 170 cm | Female – 157 cm
  • Chest (Male): 80 cm + 5 cm expansion
    (Relaxation applicable as per rules)
• Computer-Based Test (CBT):
  • 100 Questions / 100 Marks / 2 Hours
  • Subjects: Reasoning, GK, Maths, English/Hindi
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks
  • Qualifying Marks: UR – 30%, OBC/EWS – 25%, SC/ST – 20%
• Trade/Skill Test:
  Qualifying (Practical test of respective trade)
• Document Verification (DV):
  Verification of original certificates
• Medical Examination (DME/RME):
  Final medical fitness as per MHA guidelines

Final Merit List will be prepared based on CBT marks, subject to qualifying all stages.

• Register by providing basic details and generate Provisional Registration Number & Password.
• Fill the online application form carefully (personal details, educational qualification, trade/post applied, State/UT of domicile, etc.).
• Upload scanned copies of recent colour passport size photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration as per specifications.
• Pay the application fee online (if applicable) through BHIM, UPI, Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card or CSC Wallet.
• Submit the application and take printout of the application form & e-receipt for future reference.
• Candidates should bring two coloured printouts of the Admit Card at every stage of examination.
