About the RRB NTPC CBT 1 paper
NTPC CBT 1 gives you 90 minutes for 100 questions, which is the most generous clock of any exam on this page - 54 seconds a question. The pressure sits elsewhere: 40 of the 100 questions are General Awareness, so the paper is decided by what you already know rather than by what you can work out on the day.
This mock reproduces that structure question for question and minute for minute, with the same marking. Nothing is revealed while the paper runs; the score, the section-wise breakdown and a worked solution for every question all arrive together when you submit. It is free, there is no sign-up, and you can take it as often as you like - each attempt draws a fresh set of questions.

RRB NTPC CBT 1 mock test - frequently asked questions
What is the RRB NTPC CBT 1 pattern?
100 questions in 90 minutes: 40 General Awareness, 30 Mathematics and 30 General Intelligence & Reasoning, one mark each, with one-third of a mark deducted for a wrong answer. There is no sectional timing, and this mock follows the same shape.
Is CBT 1 score used in the final merit?
CBT 1 is usually a screening stage - it decides who sits CBT 2, and the final merit is normally built from CBT 2 and the stages after it. Check the notification for your cycle, since the boards have changed this before.
Why is General Awareness weighted so heavily here?
Because 40 of the 100 questions are GA, a candidate who is strong in static GK and current affairs starts 40 marks ahead of one who is not, and no amount of speed in maths closes that gap in 90 minutes. Every GA question in this mock comes from the same banks as the daily quiz, so the two reinforce each other.
How much time should Mathematics take?
Aim to clear General Awareness in about 20 minutes, since it is pure recall, and spend the time you save on the 60 questions that need working. Most candidates who run out of time in NTPC do so because they let GA drift.
