IRFC Assistant Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 23 Posts

The Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC) Recruitment 2026 notification has been officially released for 23 vacancies for the posts of Assistant and Assistant Manager on 4 April 2026. Candidates holding Any Graduate qualification are eligible to apply online.

The online application process began on 04 April 2026 and will remain open until 01 May 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official IRFC website at irfc.co.in.

IRFC Recruitment 2026 Overview

Eligibility Criteria

• Assistant (NE5 Level): 3 years Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with 60% marks + Intermediate Examination Passed from ICAI/ICMAI.
• Assistant Manager/Finance (E1 Level): 3 years Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with 60% marks + Qualified CA/CMA OR 2 years Regular MBA (Finance)/PGDM (Finance).

Salary (Pay Scale)

• Assistant (NE5): Rs. 21,000-74,000/- (CTC approx. Rs. 8.00 Lakh)
• Assistant Manager/Finance (E1): Rs. 40,000-1,40,000/- (CTC approx. Rs. 16.00 Lakh)

Age Limit

• Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
• Maximum Age limit: 30 Years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Selection Process

The selection process for Indian Railway Finance Corporation Recruitment 2026 includes CBT, Document Verification, Interview (Post Code-02 only) and Medical Examination.

• Computer Based Test (CBT): Single-stage exam with Part A & Part B, containing 100 MCQs. Duration is 90 minutes (120 minutes for eligible PwBD candidates with scribe).
• Part A (50 Marks): Mathematics/Numerical Ability (20), General Awareness (10), Logical Reasoning (10), Railways/IRFC Knowledge (10).
• Part B (50 Marks): Subject-related questions from Corporate Accounting, Finance, Taxation, etc.
• Negative Marking: 1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• Qualifying Marks: UR/EWS – 40%, SC/OBC-NCL – 30%, ST – 25%.
• Normalization: Applicable if CBT is conducted in multiple shifts.
• Shortlisting: Candidates up to 3 times the vacancies (category-wise) will be called for the next stage based on CBT merit.
• Document Verification: Original certificates/documents will be checked.
• Interview: Applicable only for Assistant Manager/Finance (E1 Level) with 20% weightage in final merit (CBT 80% + Interview 20%).
• Medical Test: Candidates must be medically fit as per IRFC standards (C1 category).
• Final Merit List: Prepared on CBT marks, Interview (if applicable), and reservation rules. Selected candidates will undergo 1 year probation.

Final Merit List: Based on performance in Music Ability Test (All India basis).

7. Regular employees of IRFC are not required to produce NOC but must bring Vigilance & D&AR Clearance at Document Verification.
